I found this unique mystical pendant and wanted to do something lovely to showcase it in a necklace. The pendant itself depicts a sun surrounded by the 12 Astrological Symbols in little moons around it, like the seasons of birth. It measures about one inch in diameter. I hung it from a vintage brass piece of filigree and accented the necklace with faceted jade beads in two colors light and dark green embraced with miniature caps and punctuated with carved flowers of white chalcedony. The necklace is an adjustable convenient 24" and fastens securely with a lobster claw clasp.
