A purse/backpack charm that can come in handy in an emergency!! This lovely charm can attach to a purse, backpack or saddle and in an emergency can possibly even save a life. How, you ask? Well, let's look at it:
There is a silver emergency whistle. If someone is in a dire situation where they need help, a whistle helps other people locate them or may scare off an attacker. (Definitely scares my Chihuahuas, who turn into tremoring balls of fur.)
Secondly, there is a small working compass attached to the chain. If someone is lost in the woods or lost at sea with the ability to navigate, a compass is a well-known tool to find your way to safety.
Thirdly, there is a miniature knife hanging from the chain. It's very small and not something you could defend yourself with, but it could cut fishing line, zip ties or help in other small ways that a sharp knife can. It is in a silver case and unobtrusively fits in with the color scheme and opens up to a small sharp blade and closes for safety. As a horse owner myself, I can attest to the fact that this little knife can slit open a bale of bedding. (Solving the where is a knife when you need one conunudrum!)
