Sybil Ludington is a Revolutionary War heroine.Although everyone has heard of Paul Revere, hardly anyone has heard of Sybil Ludington, who accomplished more on her midnight ride to notify the American militia that the British were coming than Revere did and she did it at a younger age.She was only 16 years old and rode a 40 mile distance to spread the news of the British.
