This card is part of a tarot deck I've created entitled Chain of Life Tarot comprised of vintage photographic imagery altered and added to in Photoshop. I've been taking the art I've created for each Upper Arcana card and turning them into pendant necklaces.
This is the Star, a card that represents hope, optimism and belief that all the good things life can offer will come to us. It is the belief in the impossible when we need it most.
The art in this card was created using a black and white vintage postcard that was colorized and resturctured (reeds and lily pads added to sides).A golden charm was scanned in and added to the night sky.
The necklace and frame that this picture is in is of my design and manufactured for me. It measures from the outside edges, 1in. 11/16in. or 32mm x 40mm. It comes in antiqued silver-plate or antiqued gold-plate. In a larger format, it allows the art to be better seen. It opens up and a new picture can be slid into the frame. The chain necklace measures 18 inches long. .
