Description   This card is part of a tarot deck I've created entitled Chain of Life Tarot comprised of vintage photographic imagery altered and added to in Photoshop. I've been taking the art I've created for each Upper Arcana card and turning them into pendant necklaces. This is the Hierophant Card, a card that represents your ties as a human being to the Greater Good, the Force, God or Goddess, however you worship. This card draws attention to our ties to the One and addresses our need for spiritual sustenance. I've portrayed the Hierophant as a gentle nun teaching a child on her lap. This is a vintage image that was colorized and the background and edges filled out. this is an image usually portrayed by a man, but I think the gentle nature of this imagery is so fitting, I bucked the norm here. The necklace and frame that this picture is in is of my design and manufactured for me. It measures from the outside edges, 1in. x 1 11/16in. or 32mm x 40mm. It comes in antiqued silver-plate or antiqued gold-plate. The design is of a larger format that allows the art to be better seen. It opens up and a new picture can be slid into the frame. The chain necklace measures 18 inches long.
