Description   A medley of chocolate plated leaves, silver flowers, antique brass wheels and brown roses make this a very romantic Steampunk necklace.This pendant design measures 2 inches long by 3/4 inches wide.The chain measures approximately 19 inches long.Chocolate plating emulates a rusty look without the ensuing health hazards actual rust would entail.It is in actuality copper plated brass with a brown wash/tint over it. I've named the jewelry in this 2017 line of Steampunk designs after Victorian heroines, angels and warrior women. Frances Clayton was a woman who enlisted with her husband as a Union soldier during the Civil War. Since she left the Army after her husband was killed, we can assume that she did it to protect him. It's a very unusual story, not only for the fact that this woman managed to pull off portraying another gender for several years while serving as a soldier, but also that this woman was willing to follow her husband into bloody battles. I won't follow mine into a Halloween style haunted house!
